Dressing Up The Bookcase
I am absolutely wild over holiday trees - during the last two years I have made them for Easter, Christmas, and Halloween. I found some new smaller ones this year to dress up our book cases in the kitchen. These built-ins are easily one of my favorite features of our home! When I finished adding the trees & putting on the adorably vintage halloween ornaments, I was at a total loss. SOMETHING was missing, but I couldn’t quite decide what that something was!
A few days later I was making breakfast and realized that there was simply too much white surrounding the trees, so when I stumbled upon some faux moss online, I ordered it. Once that arrived I spread it around the trees and the pumpkins, and BINGO, it was fabulously complete.
