Three Perfectly Spooky Reads For October
There is something strange about the drop in temperature that makes me feel like I need a good book in my hands at all times. Today Preston is home with me and under the weather. He’s spent the morning mostly horizontal watching Finding Nemo The Musical while I’ve been cuddled up with him reading a GREAT book with a cup of hot coffee.
It got me thinking, I’ve read so many great books lately. I picked three of my favorites and have linked them below. Also HAD to add a photograph of sweet Preston all cozied up this morning. Enjoy!
Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak - This is HANDS DOWN one of the scariest books I’ve ever read with a twist I never, ever saw coming. You’ll laugh, but never again will I look at my children’s artwork the same way!
Watching You by Lisa Jewell - I am midway through this book and it took a lot of effort on my part to put it down to write this post, y’all. It is wild, eerie, and so good. I have no clue what is going to happen but cannot wait to finish.
Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier - So, this book had my heart rate DOUBLING. It highlights every parents worst nightmare, a child kidnapping. A heavy subject, but this book will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end!
